According to the email that landed in my inbox, tomorrow the computer manufacturer Velocity Micro is going to offer ‘a user experience like you never thought possible’.
The email was enticing, but after clicking on the link I was taken to the Velocity Micro homepage, which didn’t provide any more information about the announcement.
However, after some digging it turns out that from tomorrow VM will be offering free Windows 7 upgrade coupons for customers who buy a new machine running Vista from them, but unfortunately the coupons will not be handed out to current Vista-using customers. The coupons will allow for a free upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 upon its release date, 22nd October.
