Apple’s iPhone is not the first touch screen phone, but its multi-touch responsiveness secures a position in the seven wonders of the tech world. Unlike a cell phone, iPhone was designed as a MP3, photo and video player, and fulfilled its promises together with iTune. It was also aimed to be a mobile Internet browser and does a good job over Wifi with Apple’s Safari.

The look (big and vivid screen), no keypad, accelerometer to rotate images and proximity sensor to turn off the screen when you hold it to your ear.

iPhone is the most coveted mobile device to operators around the world. Rumor says operators hand over upto $10/month to Apple from subscriber monthly fee. Yet, operators such as O2 declared iPhone boosting earnings substantially.  iPhone is also the most trafficked phone.  An estimated 1 million (Feb. 2008), or 25% iPhone sold to date, were unlocked without authorization.
