LG Arena made official at AT&T
Posted on February 19, 2010 | No CommentsPart of me feels like saying, "LG Arena! Last stop, AT&T!" After all, this handset has been announced well over a year ago and it's been available in other countries for quite some time. Of course, if you've been keeping up you'll know that Best Buy is getting the Arena very soon for a modest price with a contract. Need a reminder for the perks and features that come with this phone?

LG Arena coming to Best Buy, extremely late to the party
Posted on February 18, 2010 | No CommentsHow excited can you get over a phone that was announced at last year’s Mobile World Congress and whose successor, the LG Arena Max, has already been spotted in the wild? Perhaps a $149.99 price point, a slick 3D UI, 5-megapixel camera and HSDPA 7.2Mbps? Yeah, I didn’t think so, either. After seeing this slide, I [...] -
Motorola Devour going for $150 at Best Buy
Posted on February 18, 2010 | No CommentsIt’s the handset that Megan Fox used to make men crumble everywhere, and now it looks like the Motorola DEVOUR can be had at Best Buy pretty soon. At $149.99, it’s $50 less than the DROID, but of course, there are the bells and whistles. If the grainy picture above is accurate, you’ll need to sign [...] -
Puma Phone by Sagem given some hands-on treatment
Posted on February 17, 2010 | No CommentsWhen I first saw shots of the new Puma phone, I was a little skeptical. It looked decent enough, but the whole solar charging thing made it seem a little gimmicky. After seeing the following video from Mobile World Congress, however, it's beginning to look more like a smartphone I'd actually use.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 clears for landing at AT&T
Posted on February 17, 2010 | No CommentsWhen the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 was announced in November, my major concern was whether it was coming to the U.S., when it was coming and if it would be subsidized by a carrier. The good news is that it looks like the X10 will be hitting AT&T's shores this Spring.

T-Mobile gives an HTC HD2 reminder, now with more fun!
Posted on February 16, 2010 | No CommentsLast week, T-Mobile teased us all with a little jab on Twitter about the HTC HD2 that it will be shipping soon. It was exciting and, to be frank, it made me a little antsy. As promised, T-Mobile announced new features for the HD2 at Mobile World Congress today and I've gotta say, it isn't all that thrilling.

The Cliq XT/Quench drops, brings Android 1.5 in tow
Posted on February 15, 2010 | No CommentsMotorola is keeping the Android party rocking with the Cliq XT — or Quench in Euroland. The handset doesn’t bring anything we haven’t seen before including the aging Android 1.5 release along with Motorola’s social media-centric MOTOBLUR home screen replacement. A respectable 3.1-inch 320 x 480 occupies the front, while a 5.0 MP cam with [...]
