Is this your new iWatch?
Posted on May 11, 2010 | No CommentsWouldn’t it be great if this thing were real? You could do all kinds of great stuff on your iWatch like slide to unlock and tell the time. Presumably apps would be a pretty limited – 2 inches by 1 inch won’t be a good battleground for Plants vs. Zombies – but a girl can [...] -

Yet another new e-book reader – this one looks vaguely familiar
Posted on December 29, 2009 | No CommentsLooks like 2010 is turning out to be the year of the e-book reader. I'm not sure at what point these are going to stop being news, but here we go again. Insdream is launching the SX601 which seems to borrow some significant design ideas from another rather popular e-book reader. The Insdream does use a different type of screen from the source material (can you say Kindle), but looks pretty much the same otherwise.

Keepin’ it real fake, part CCXLIV: Zoho’s E72 is made in China, has Finland doing a double-take
Posted on November 28, 2009 | No Comments
Having trouble getting your hands on that Nokia E72? Perhaps you favor a handset with a TV tuner? Zoho's KIRF E72 features the aforementioned tuner, dual sim, QWERTY keypad, WiFi, JAVA, FM tuner, and both rear and front-facing 1.3MP cameras. Rest assured, the UI looks nothing like what you'd get with from Finland. But did we mention that you could watch TV on the thing? Video after the break.Keepin' it real fake, part CCXLIV: Zoho's E72 is made in China, has Finland doing a double-take originally appeared on Engadget on Sat, 28 Nov 2009 13:17:00 EST. Keepin’ it real fake, part CCXXXIX: Genuine Android shipping on a counterfeit Storm
Posted on October 13, 2009 | No CommentsFiled under: Handsets, Others, Android

Looks like someone in Shenzhen had time to kill overnight at the Storm factory -- and they've put it to good use. Instead of giving us a faux-BlackBerry with a horribly mangled KIRFed-out UI (or at most WinMo) what we have here is a genuine clone with a trackball thrown in for good measure running honest-to-goodness Android 1.5. Dubbed the Broncho A1, this guy features a 600MHz CPU, 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera, WiFi, GPS, and an FM radio. That's the good news. The bad? 128MB RAM isn't going to do much for you, app-wise. Oh, well. Price and ship date to be announced at a later date. Get a closer look in the gallery below.

The iPad Macbook touch, jumping the shark edition
Posted on August 23, 2009 | No CommentsCould this be the Macbook iPad Touch Tablet Notebook Edition e-Reader?
