Posted on April 13, 2010 | No Comments
When Qualcomm's FLO TV came out last November, it seemed alright. A bit expensive for the initial investment, but a reasonable device if you didn't want to stream media over your smartphone. Well, Qualcomm is making the FLO TV a little better with their latest update, due 2Q2010.

FLO TV for iPhone proof-of-concept caught in the wild
Posted on November 20, 2009 | No Comments
We don't know if watching TV on a 3.5-inch display is your bag, as it were, but it looks like Qualcomm is moving onward and upward with its plans for FLO TV on the iPhone. Not too many details at the moment, just some pics that Electricpig snapped of a handset running a proof-of-concept app that relys on an external device for reception, streaming re-runs of Mayberry R.F.D. to your handset via WiFi. The Qualcomm FLO TV is now available if anyone cares
Posted on November 13, 2009 | No Comments
The Qualcomm FLO TV is a nifty little device. It plays TV content on a 3.5-inch screen, which could be great for some. The Qualcomm FLO TV retail box leaks out, launch imminent?
Posted on September 30, 2009 | No Comments
The Qualcomm FLO TV is slowly taking shape. First we saw early concept art, which was followed by our exlucisive shots of the interface. But the just last week we saw a leaked photo and learned that it was manufactured by HTC. Today though, the retail packaging has been spotted. So...really the only thing left is the actual product announcement, which can't be that far off. Hopefully.

Qualcomm FLO TV user interface images leak into our inbox
Posted on September 8, 2009 | No Comments
Well look at this. We still don't know any hard facts about the Qualcomm FLO TV product, but a highly reliable source just confirmed to us that yes, it does exist and that these images are of the user interface. Even better, we might get more info later this week about the hardware, availability and/or price.
That last point is what we would really like to know. FLO TV is great and all, but the current offering doesn't present enough benefit for the cost. Maybe a larger screen than a cell phone will help justify it. Oh, and more TV stations would be nice too. But let's speculate a few things from these pics. That's always fun.
