We already knew everything about the DMC-G1 and DMC-G10. Panasonic announced them back in early March and revealed their 12.1 MP sensors, 3-inch LCD screens, and 720p video modes. But the press release back then didn't mention anything about pricing. Don't you hate that? We do.

So we finally have the official press release from Panasonic, we of course got a glimpse of the G2 and G10 the other day, but now we know all the news that's fit to share. Both look like some decent kit, and a definite step up from most of the P&S cameras out there.

The retrotastic Olympus E-P1 launched last month with much fanfare. (not pictured above) It turned out to be an alright camera as Peter found out. You may want to hold off buying one just yet though. There might be another version coming soon if this rumor is correct.

Come on, who's had a tech boner over the red and white Panasonic Lumix GF1? Be honest. Maybe their attraction all this time over the standard black model was that they were always hard to come by here in the States, available only from shady ebay sellers. But no worries, Amazon finally has them available for purchase -- through a shady 3rd party reseller.
