Dell Streak gets cozy with Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, suddenly looks small (video)
Posted on June 21, 2010 | No Commentsdigg_url = 'http://digg.com/gadgets/Dell_Streak_Bluetooth_keyboard_mini_mobile_workstation'; Look what we have here? The Dell Streak sure keeps bringing us more and more surprises -- unlike most Android devices that lack the Bluetooth HID profile, here it is paired up with our wireless keyboard and mouse (Apple's Wireless Keyboard and Magic Mouse, specifically) without any driver hacks. Streak Smart, who made this discovery, had the same experience as us with its iGo Stowaway keyboard and an unknown mouse -- typing was as smooth as cutting butter with a hot knife, but the mouse couldn't do much due to the lack of pointer and scrolling support. If you insist, the forthcoming Nokia N8 is confirmed to support both devices natively, but it shouldn't be long before we see a mouse hack for the green bot. Hands-on video after the break, and do also head over to the source link if you need more convincing.Dell Streak gets cozy with Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, suddenly looks small (video) originally appeared on Engadget on Mon, 21 Jun 2010 20:38:00 EST. Nokia N8 meets Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, has a good time (video)
Posted on June 16, 2010 | No CommentsNo, we're not revealing some great hidden feature here -- Nokias have been able to pair with Bluetooth devices since pretty much forever -- but throw a complete set of desktop implements together with the Finnish company's greatest new phone, and sparks of interest do fly. In this case, a pair of keen fellas have hooked a portable keyboard and a Logitech mouse up to the N8 and had some fun videotaping their exploits. If you're thinking this would make a pretty killer combination with the N8 plugged into an HDTV, well... you'd be right. Catch the video after the break.

Posted on May 27, 2010 | No CommentsThere's a new gaming mouse in town, amigos. It's the Mionix NAOS 3200, and it's made of "carefully selected high-end components." What kind of components? I'm guessing dark matter.

A concept ambidextrous mouse, for your perusal
Posted on May 24, 2010 | No Comments
Do you like computer mice? Do you like ambidexterity? Do you like looking at renderings of concept products that are not yet real? Today, my friend, is your lucky day. Gaze upon the Nink wireless optical mouse. Imagine the feel of that corrugated shell under either your right or your left palm. Visualize the sensation of using either index finger to tenderly scroll that wheel up and down, up and down. You can almost feel the mild resistance as the Nink lovingly caresses your desk, gliding back and forth at your slightest bidding...

Razer announces left handed gaming mouse
Posted on March 16, 2010 | No Comments
Razer has definitely been working the gaming mojo this month, first the Mac driver announcement and now DeathAdder. Long neglected by manufacturers because they are of the devil, left handed gamers have had to use an ambidextrous mouse or suffer from poor ergonomics. Razer has heard their cries of pain, and released (what I consider) the best gaming mouse in a left handed model.

Hello Kitty MP3 player sparkles with Swarovski crystals
Posted on January 26, 2010 | No Comments
Hello Kitty, dream cartoon cat of millions of teenage girls and women around the world, gets another portable music player. We had a device fully covered with Swarovski cystals in October last year. We had another one, all in black, in December. And today, Japan-based Mouse Computer, in cooperation with iriver Japan, announced [JP] a player that's kind of the combination of the two previous ones.

Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T. is the ugliest mouse known to man
Posted on January 6, 2010 | No Comments
Mad Catz isn't actually known for being subtle, but this is a bit much even for them. It's the new Cyborg R.A.T. - and it's a hot mess of wasteland design gone wrong.

iPhone and Magic Mouse linked up by BTstack (video)
Posted on January 4, 2010 | No CommentsEven though you probably still can't figure out what good the ability to connect your Bluetooth keyboard to your iPhone will do, the BTstack project is steaming ahead with this demo of a connected Magic Mouse twirling its pointer all over Apple's handset. The driver code is still unreleased, but we get to see some nice lag-free interaction between the two devices, suggesting it shouldn't be too far away from public consumption. As if to answer your earlier quandary, the video also features a Celluon CL800BT virtual keyboard, which projects onto and responds to your touch of any flat surface. A gimmick most likely, but a fun journey into the dream of nomadic computing nonetheless. Check out all the action after the break.

This could be the ultimate HTPC controller
Posted on November 24, 2009 | No Comments
This little controller is butt-ugly and crude, but I still want one really bad. Maybe Santa will bring me one.

Note: That's a mouse, not a lady pleaser.
