Poll: Will you buy the new Xbox 360?
Posted on June 14, 2010 | No Comments
It's slim, it's black, and it's Kinect compatible (whatever that means.) But will you shell out another $300 or so for the new model? I probably will, mostly because my XBoxen are all dead.

Posted on May 11, 2010 | No CommentsMicrosoft had tried to shutdown the original Xbox Live servers, but a couple of Halo 2 stalwarts had refused to log off! I guess Microsoft couldn't turn the servers off, or wouldn't, while people were still connected? No matter: the last Halo 2 Xbox Live player has signed off. We wish him well in his future endeavors.

Omek Interactive Could Blow Microsoft’s Project Natal Out Of The Water (Video)
Posted on May 7, 2010 | No Comments
I've spent 4 full days here in Israel meeting tons of entrepreneurs and startup folks, but if I had to pick one company that made the biggest impression on me it would definitely be Omek Interactive.
The company, which unveiled itself to the public for the first time at the Techonomy 2010 conference held in Tel Aviv earlier this week, was co-founded by a couple over 3.5 years ago. Nevertheless, chances are you've never heard that name before.
Chances are you've heard of Microsoft's Project Natal though, the fascinating controller-free gaming and entertainment product Microsoft showcased at E3 2009 in June 2009 and is reportedly set to launch at the end of this year.
Well, Omek is a tiny startup that aims to take the Redmond software giant on, their product is ready to debut starting today, and they're only now starting to talk to press about their strategy and demoing their amazing technology.

Bungie: The Halo 2 big E3 reveal back in 2003 was ’smoke and mirrors’
Posted on April 12, 2010 | No CommentsWell now this is mildly embarrassing. Six years ago, Bungieshowed off, and I guess I use that term loosely now, Halo 2 for the very first time. Let's see... 2003, that would make me 17. Trivia! Anyhow, what Bungie showed was a complete hunk of nonsense. This is where you act surprised.

Ballmer hints that new Xbox styles may be coming
Posted on March 5, 2010 | No Comments
And lo, from the Ballmer came the words, and the words were about the Xbox, and they did ponder the words as to what they meant. And then the idle speculation started, and people started posting stuff on the internet, and it just got silly. But judging from (and speculating from) some comments that Ballmer said at a recent UW speech, there's a pretty good chance that there may be some new kinds of Xboxen coming to your television.

GameStop selling 250GB Xbox 360 drive
Posted on March 2, 2010 | No Comments
Well lookie at that, GameStop is selling a 250GB Xbox 360 drive separately from a console. Microsoft has said in the past that they don't plan on selling the larger drives without a bundle, so I doubt these are a new or official product, but rather GameStop coming up with something on their own.
