The second go-around for Dell’s multi-touch tablet line, the Latitude XT2, is now available from Dell’s business division with a starting price of $2,399. The company is promising over 11 hours of battery life with a six-cell battery (add $25) and an additional battery slice (add $249).
The tablet weighs in at under four pounds (with the six-cell battery, no word on how much weight the slice would add) and can be manipulated using Dell’s capacitive multi-touch software (see video here) as well as with the included stylus or trackpad.
Each configuration features a 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, DDR3 RAM, and can be outfitted with a standard hard drive or SSD.
