As just discussed in the CrunchGear chatroom, I don’t know anything about District 9 because I’m eventually going to see it. All I need to know is that right now the movie is ranked number 26 on IMDb’s top 250 list and has an 8.9 out of 10 rating. If the movie keeps the 8.9 rating after more votes are submitted, it will surpass The Dark Knight (8.8), Star Wars (8.8), The Empire Strikes Back (8.8), and LOTR: Return of the King (8.8) as the top Sci-fi movie of all time. Not that I’m going to read these comments because they will certainly contain spoilers, but is the movie really that good? Like better than The Dark Knight good?
