Ready to dump out a chunk of change to AT&T for your next smartphone? Need to know how much to pull out of the “non-essentials” (food, hygiene, etc) savings? This might help.
BGR managed to finagle some details over the weekend, shedding a light on the price points for the HTC Pure (Touch2), HTC Tilt2 (Touch Pro2), along with the long-fabled Garmin-Asus nuvifone G60.
According to what they’re hearing, pricing is as following:
- Tilt2: $199.99 ($149.99 after mail in rebate) with contract, launching around mid-October.
- Touch Pro2: $299.99 with contract, making their Touch Pro2 cheaper than T-Mobile and Sprint’s, but not Verizon’s.
- nuvifone G60: $299.99 with contract, which seems pretty damn high to us when compared to other handsets that AT&T offers for less.
So what do you think – are any of these calling your name? Are you as shocked as we are to see the nuvifone G60 finally coming stateside?

I just ditched my Incite for that Tilt 2 (AT&T) All I can say is WOW this is a better phone! I see lots of messages here regarding the TP2, is this a different phone completely, or is it just the Verizon version of the same phone with slightly different interface? Was there a Tilt 1? I am trying to get accessories and want to make sure I don’t buy the wrong stuff.
i’ve had my pure for a week now and that i nonetheless dont know what to do… like altering the message alert tone to no matter i want it not simply the basic ones on the phone… every part about this phone is complicating.. i also needed to alter to that android software as a result of home windows is too slow and somebody please help me how to do this
