GREENVILLE, S.C.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Hubbell Lighting (www.hubbelllighting.com), a market leader in innovative lighting technology for over a century, today launched its Electronic Product Selection Guide (e-PSG) Web App. Following on the heels of the company’s already popular e-PSG Desktop Application for PC and Mac, the new web app now gives users three choices (desktop, online and mobile) for using the company’s commercial and industrial lighting product catalog.
The e-PSG Web App (http://www.hubbelllighting.com/resources/epsg_web/) provides nearly all of the same functionality as the desktop application, but without the need to install software. In addition to providing PDF files of each product’s catalog page and user-editable product spec sheets, the web app also organizes direct links to each product’s web page where users can download IES photometric files. The web app also takes full advantage of mobile mapping technology to help e-PSG users find the nearest distributor or agent.
“Many of our lighting specifier customers liked our e-PSG Desktop Application for its ability to automatically update itself, but preferred to not have to install software or store that much data on their own computers. So they asked us to provide online and mobile versions with the same functionality as the e-PSG Desktop Application.
