Following the iPhone 4, the 4th generation iPod was also announced. Excitement is in the air as Apple finally unveiled its newest iPod, the iPod Touch 4the Generation. The model was a much anticipated one, thanks to the hype building up prior to the press event date. The Apple iPod Touch 4th Generation will be available for $299 (32GB) and $399 (64GB) for the high-end models.
The most interesting feature on the iPod Touch – 4th Generation would be the presence of two cameras. The camera on the back on the player can capture images and film videos of up to 720p quality. Sadly, no flash is present to help with the shots. It works on the same processor as found on the iPhone 4. Not forgetting the integrated gyroscope included for a better gaming control. Of course, it features Wi-Fi 802.11n. There’s the same 3.5-inch LCD (960 x 640 resolution) featured with the much-talked about “retina”, the same as on the iPhone 4.
