Japanese vinyl fans don’t have a reason to complain in the last few months. Following powerhouses Sony and Denon, it’s now Tokyo-based Exemode’s turn to come up with a nice little device [JP] that plays analogue music discs.
Announced today, the ER-260 also features a CD player and a radio tuner. It can play music from SD/miniSD cards and USB sticks. Users can store music from CDs or records directly on SD/mini SD cards or on USB sticks in MP3 format.
The system goes on sale in Japan next week but will not be available outside Nippon where it’s expected to cost $150.
