In yet another move to further blur the line between netbooks and notebooks, Japan’s Mouse Computer will be shipping the LB-F1500W netbook at the end of January, complete with a built-in DVD burner. Now all the company needs to do is swap out the Atom chip for a full-blown Pentium and we can start calling everything a notebook again.

Everything else about the computer is pretty standard — 10.2-inch screen at 1024×600 resolution, 1.6 GHz Atom CPU, 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, Windows XP – except the price, which is around $729 when converted from Yen to dollars.
