Right of the bat — well, after some company talk — Toshiba announced the Cell TV. It’s dubbed the next-gen of HDTVs.
Lots more industry numbers and stats. We should probably care how LCDs are outselling plasmas and how trends are changing. But yet we don’t. Oh well.

Toshiba has ten new HDTV lines coming out in 2010 — seven will be LED-lit. One will be the ultimate TV built on Cell technology.

Cell TV is Toshiba’s future and that’s all they have for us today. Amazing.
