In case you’re hurting for more choice when it comes to shopping for 1TB hard drives! Yup, Samsung’s Spinpoint F3 has now reached the 1TB mark by way of two 500GB platters.
The drive, which is of the 3.5-inch variety, has a 3.0Gbps SATA interface, which I’m pretty sure most motherboards manufactured since the fall of Troy support. It’s 7,200RPM, too, so it should be plenty fast.
That’s really all there is to say about the drive. It’ll be available in August. A 500GB model will also be available.
No price, and that may not be the exact hard drive pictured up there.
