BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–SnapKnot, the photocentric website designed to help engaged couples find wedding photographers, today announced the release of its free wedding planning app for the iPhone. The mobile app enables couples to browse wedding photographers listed on the SnapKnot website from any location via their iPhone.

The free app harnesses the iPhone’s internal GPS technology to refine search results of SnapKnot’s 3,100 photographers to those within current proximity. Searches can be further refined by choosing a city, mile radius, and budget range. Social media capabilities allow users to share photography favorites via Facebook, Twitter, or e-mail.

The mobile photography browsing app is currently available for free download in the iTunes Store. It is also compatible with the iPod Touch and iPad.
