It’s about time. How many old-timey chairs have you broken over a friend’s back, hurting them badly enough that your playtime bar brawl has to end after the first direct hit? It’s obnoxious. You spend an hour setting everything up and it all ends within the first minute with people crying and friendships disintegrating like so many pieces of splintered wood.
A big thanks to Kai Linke of Germany for solving this problem with the “Hit It” collection of foam saloon furniture:
“Hit it” is a series of furniture, consisting of a table and chairs. They resemble Saloon furniture from western movies, but the difference lies in the material. Hit It allows everyone to feel like a strong cowboy. Saloon fighting will now not only be fun, but safe.
Finally. And by “finally” I mean that it’s been around since 2006. Old-timey foam saloon furniture news travels pretty slowly, though.
