Sprint launches new 3G/4G USB modem

Are you looking for a speedy wireless connection? Do you like big, round dongles? Do you live in one of the 33 locations that have a Sprint 4G network? Do you get where I'm heading?
That's right, Sprint today announced their first 4G-capable USB modem for all those folk that feel the need. An added bonus, if you're of the travellin' type, is that the modem will connect to Sprint's 3G network when a 4G network isn't available.

Cisco today announced two new lines of wireless routers: the Valet series and the Linksys E-series. Both share the same design, with the only obvious differentiator being the color. The white Valet routers target the general consumer, while the black E-series is designed for "tech enthusiasts" like yours truly.

AT&T unveils the A-List, thinks it’s 2006

AT&T prisoners can now call up to five domestic “VIPs” without putting a dent into their pre-existing plan. As an added bonus, the Rollover feature has been bundled in and starts with the individual Nation plans higher than $59.99. A-List with Rollover launches on September 20. Oh, and don't forget to read the fine print.

DVD/Blu-ray Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen confirmed for October 20, augmented reality included

Big, bad Bay just pushed out the press release confirming the October 20 street date for both the DVD and Blu-ray of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Both the DVD and Blu-ray versions will come in a two-disc variety (single disc DVD will be available as well). The two-disc packages will include “augmented reality technology” that give owners a chance to rebuild a broken down Prime using their webcam and a “special website.” A gaggle of other extras are available. Review: Kensington Nightstand Charging Dock for iPhone, iPod Touch

Short Version: If you’ve never purchased a charging dock for your iPhone or iPod Touch and you’re without an alarm clock then the Kensington Nightstand is a perfect alternative for you, friend. Being able to check on the weather first thing in the morning is an added bonus. The $40 price tag might give some of you sticker shock considering the Rise & Shine app is free from the App Store, but a quick look around to other iPhone/iPod accessory vendors quickly reveals that the Nightstand is actually a good deal. If you’re looking to buy a charging dock that is.
Samsung has just announced a pair of LCD monitors with built-in TV features that promise to “eliminate the line between work productivity and HD entertainment,” according to the press release. And speaking of that press release, it appears that Samsung has also eliminated the most basic and important spec from the products’ list of features.
