Orange begins HD Voice trial in Southern England, leaves out Buckingham Palace
Posted on June 18, 2010 | No Comments
Remember the good news that Orange brought to the UK on our alcohol-fueled New Year's Eve? We thought so. Flying high on Club Mate
Posted on February 10, 2010 | No CommentsI’ve been lead to believe that Club Mate (pronounced: ma-tay) is the drink in the international hacker community. Being a fan of the international hacker community—and by “hacker” I don’t meant stupid idiots who DDOS Web sites for lulz, but rather people who enjoy tinkering with the world around them—I decided to buy a case. What [...] -

As a homebrewing enthusiast, I'm constantly trying to improve my process and my equipment. I'm busy making a DIY bottle tree to dry my bottles right now. The British, quite probably the world's best drinkers, have been hard at work improving the vessel of beer delivery, the pint glass. Two new shatter-proof glasses have been unveiled by the British Home Office, designed in collaboration with the Design Council.

Wired.com Reader’s Leather Case Caused Discoloration on His iPhone
Posted on July 10, 2009 | No CommentsIt’s appearing more likely that discoloration of some white iPhone 3GS units is due to contact with certain third-party cases rather than overheating. Wired.com reader Charles Sola sent a photo of his discolored iPhone (right) and concluded that the cause was a leather case (below, right) he bought off eBay. “This is a very important information [...] -
iPhone 3GS Discoloration Might Be Symptom of Faulty Cases
Posted on July 6, 2009 | No CommentsA small number of iPhone 3GS owners have reported browning of their handsets presumably due to overheating. However, a report suggests the problem is tied to third-party cases. iPhone blog FrenchiPhone cites an Apple technician who laid blame at the covers of some iPhone 3GS units. “After numerous calls to Apple technical service and maintenance of contact [...]
