Digital Storm just announced their latest PC, the Special|Ops. Intended mainly for the gaming fanatic, the Special|Ops runs the latest is CPU/GPU technology, and comes boxed in a quite attractive and well ventilated case. Not everyone wants their hand held when PC gaming

The service promises to make PC gaming more accessible by hosting all of the hardware—you simply supply a broadband connection and a Web browser, and you'll be playing the likes of Mass Effect 2 in no time. If it works as described, great. There's nothing wrong with exposing PC gaming to more people.

HP and Dell say the 10-inch netbook market is getting too crowded

Despite the boom in netbooks in recent years thanks to a poor economy and cash-strapped consumers, a recent Digitimes article reported that HP and Dell are actually reducing their investments in the commoditized 10-inch netbook market. In fact, HP is considering quitting the 10-inch segment altogether to focus on its 11.6-inch AMD notebooks as the Intel Pine Trail netbooks have not been very profitable.

Oops! Looks like someone accident let some information out early. AMDs "Thuban" processors will be out next month, and there wasn't a whole lot of information out there until recently. Turns out that somebody talked. Well, at least someone's BIOS talked.

AMD working on actual netbook chipset, not due until next year

AMD is finally looking to get into the netbook game for real. Forget about the thin-and-light NEO chipset that’s been out for a while—we’re talking about an honest, netbook-specific chipset based on the company’s Fusion initiative that’ll blend power-sipping CPUs with ATI graphics. The platform will draw between 10 and 15 watts of power and will be designed for screens 12 inches and smaller.

Good news. The WHS Power Pack 3 will be here shortly and packs a whole bunch of enhancements aimed at Windows 7. The beta has been available for the last couple of months, but this is the official release and will install automagicly if Automatic Updates are enabled on November 24.
