Ultra-rare Sega Action Chair up on ebay

Awesome. Simply awesome. How could I have gone through my childhood not knowing that I could have played my Sega Genesis games on the Sega Action Chair. The beauty here is that the chair itself is the controller with a joystick pad located on the chairs single mounting point and controller bars holding the buttons. Amazing.

Mass Effect 2 for the Xbox 360 has leaked. So, you know.

Oh, the ironing. Big Daddy Cool, John Biggs, just interviewed Casey Hudson, from BioWare, about Mass Effect 2. It was streamed live! The beauty is, while they were talking about the game, kids with modded Xbox 360s all over the world were already playing the game. Yes, the game has leaked. Granted, it's only a few days before the game actually comes out, but still, the biggest release of the year (so far) is now available where you find such things. I'll be getting the PC version via Steam, thank you very much. (There's nothing after this. Clicking Read More is a waste of your time.)

ENON: Fujitsu robot talks shoppers into buying stuff (videos)

We saw Fujitsu's "service robot" ENON back in October 2008 during the CEATEC exhibition in Chiba/Japan (see video below), and it seems the friendly guy has been selling well in the meantime. The robot can be used as an information terminal, for entertainment purposes, patrolling, assistance etc. And last weekend, ENON could be seen in the wild, namely in a shopping mall in Osaka. That specific ENON spent the entire Saturday interacting with customers. Equipped with a camera and face recognition software, the robot is capable of detecting a human's gender and age. Combine this with ENON's ability to "speak" and move around, and you get a store clerk of a very different kind.

Why are people falling victim to Facebook scams?

The beauty of essentially quitting social networking, as I have, is that I don't have to worry about all of the associated nonsense. “Facebook's new privacy settings cause uproar.” Really? Not if you quit the site it doesn't. “Malicious programs causing social network malaise.” Again, not an issue if you're not all-consumed with tweeting every 10 seconds about what you're eating for breakfast.

Did this guy just ‘beat’ World of Warcraft? (Answer: No.)

Does getting every achievement in World of Warcraft mean you've “beaten” the game? I wouldn't say so, but that seems to be the meme going around, with word that a man in Taiwan has ticked off all but one achievements in the game.

Nokia X6 coming to Finland and the UK this Friday, other countries soon

Nokia's just confirmed on its official blog that the X6 will hit shelves in Finland and the UK starting next week, with other countries to follow soon after. Take-down notices going after Microsoft Cofee

You'll recall that CrunchGear broke the news regarding the leak of Microsoft Cofee, a suite of applications used by law enforcement officials for their own devices. The leak came from a popular BitTorrent site, and then spread to The Pirate Bay and all over the Internet. Needless to say, it's “out there.” So good luck to Microsoft in trying to stop its spread.

You have to appreciate the simple design of the Wrap Wrap

This is just too cool not to post. Look at that little thing. It’s genius. It’s just a bit of walnut or oak, carved into a shape that will keep your ear buds under control. I’m amazed at the shear beauty and simplicity of the little thing. I don’t even know what to call it. Calling it [...]

Beware the ‘r word’ when reading up on Net Neutrality

The beauty of the Drudge Report right now is that Mr. Drudge is working against his very interests. He's got some ridiculous headline right now, JULIUS AT FCC WANTS TO 'REGULATE' INTERNET, that's meant to wile up his easily excitable readership. What's going on is that the FCC has moved one step closer to bringin Net Neutrality to fruition, and has invited the public to weigh in until January 14.

Casio’s G’zOne Rock C731 for Verizon oozes tough

We've been hearing about Casio's next US-bound G'zOne for a while now, but the Rock's been taking its sweet time getting to market -- not unlike the EXILIM before it, we suppose. We still don't have a release here, but PhoneArena appears to have nabbed solid shots of the C731 in the wild, showing totally typical G'zOne styling cues with the pointy tips, textured components, and a total disregard for beauty (at least in the traditional sense of the word). They still haven't managed to scrounge up a possible release date -- but really, you could argue that the Boulder still has some life in it, so we wouldn't be surprised if this didn't hit until closer to the holidays at the earliest.
