Hands-on with the HTC Legend (with video)
Posted on February 16, 2010 | No Comments
When the HTC Hero was announced in June of last year, I would have made a valiant effort to eat my own head if it meant I got to own one. It was just so damned pretty.
I just got the opportunity to play with its brand-new successor, the HTC Legend - and, well.. to put it gently, it makes the HTC Hero look like an antique.
I only got to spend a few minutes with it, but I walked away not wanting to walk away. Read on for my impressions.

Xperia X10 launching February 2010 in UK, says Sony Ericsson site
Posted on November 15, 2009 | No CommentsFiled under: Handsets, Sony Ericsson
Sony Ericsson UK's got a new pre-registration page for the Xperia X10, and along with it what appears to be a brand new, February 2010 expected launch. It's hard to say for sure, but as far as we can tell this page is new, and last we heard the target window was a much broader "first half 2010." Can't say we're anymore excited about this than before, but far be it for us to get in the way of a truly die hard fan community. At least you have a better idea of when to break the bank now.

Bell announces HSPA+ Turbo Stick, MiFi for shiny new network
Posted on October 27, 2009 | No CommentsFiled under: Others, Bell Mobility, GSM, EDGE, HSDPA, UMTS, HSUPA
What good is a brand new 21Mbps beast of a network without some hardcore data devices ready to take advantage of it? Not much good at all, which is why Canada's Bell Mobility is Johnny-on-the-spot this week with a couple hardware announcements. First up, there'll be an aptly named HSPA+ Turbo Stick, which -- you guessed it -- is a USB stick capable of blazing along at HSPA+ speeds. Next up, lucky customers will be getting the MiFi 2372 from Novatel, the North American 3G version that we'd all love for AT&T to launch at some point. Both devices will be swinging by in November, just in time to christen the brand new towers on a high note.Bell announces HSPA+ Turbo Stick, MiFi for shiny new network originally appeared on Engadget Mobile on Tue, 27 Oct 2009 12:12:00 EST. iTwinge tactile keyboard for iPhone
Posted on September 16, 2009 | No Comments
The $30 iTwinge keyboard may be able to grab some brand new iPhone owners who have a bit of trouble adjusting to the on-screen keyboard, but most people will tell you that you get used to it in about a week. Although with a potential customer base of however many bajillion iPhone owners there are out there, Mobile Mechatronics (the company behind the iTwinge) probably has a leg up by being first-to-market with this thing.
