iTunes 9.1 preventing jailbroken devices from syncing, breaking tethered jailbreaks?
Posted on March 30, 2010 | No CommentsHurray, it’s cat and mouse time again! iTunes 9.1 was just released, and it looks like Apple has taken yet another step (or two) in their endless fight against jailbreaking. Wanna read Kindle books on your iPad? Of course you do~! UPDATE
Posted on March 12, 2010 | No CommentsAll the Apple marks are excited about the iPad. Not me, but whatever. What I am excited about, though, is seeing consumers use the items they've bought in the manner of their choosing. Say you've bought a bunch of books from the Amazon Kindle store. (Don't tell Devin!) Apple on Palm Pre iTunes Sync: ‘Watch Out’
Posted on June 17, 2009 | No CommentsPalm’s cheeky but gutsy addition of iTunes syncing to the Pre was always at the mercy of Apple’s engineers, if not its lawyers. In a support document updated yesterday, though, Apple has made its first move in what we expect to be a long cat and mouse game. Right now, Palm Media Sync will “transfer DRM-free music, [...]
In the dog eat dog world of the CE business, margins are low and money - especially in this economy - is tight. That's why a number of smaller vendors, including some we talked to in Vegas, took rooms in local hotels or ran "peripheral" events in other venues.
