This Nintendo 3DS concept looks like a DS and PSP offspring

We've always admired the PSP's sleek exterior, but loved the DS's fun games. We're weird like that. But maybe, although it's highly unlikely, the next DS incarnation will combine some of the PSP's trademark style with the DS's functionality. If so, the 3DS would probably look something like this concept art.

    Concept art: the iPhone 4G

Who doesn’t love a good concept piece? Spaziocellulare forum user “Seraphan” just posted his render of what the iPhone 4G could look like, and his ideas aren’t too shabby. Of course, it’s one man’s idea of what the phone of the future should look like, including an expanded color pallet, built in microSD slot, and [...]

Video: Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands: John Morrison jumps around, fights a sand monster

Ubisoft hasn't given up on the Prince of Persia series just yet (despite the fact that Assassin's Creed is essentially Persia of Persia with a different pair of shoes). There's the movie with that guy, and the just-announced Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. It's coming out in May of 2010 for all the usual suspects.

Qualcomm’s FLO TV spied, reveals little [update]

Info about the Qualcomm FLO TV has been slowly leaking out the last few weeks. First we saw early concept art, then we released the first screenshots, but now it seems Boy Genius has a pic of the real deal. Sure enough, it sports a 4:3-ish screen just like the screenshots indicated. Besides that little tid-bit there isn't anything else surprise that this pic reveals. We already knew that it was a pocketable FLO TV unit, what did you expect it to look like? Update after the break

  • Pellermodel: Bandai lets you build a 3D figure of yourself

Pellermodel: Bandai lets you build a 3D figure of yourself

Even though I live in Japan, I admit I don't know anything about Origami and other techniques to build objects out of paper. Today is also the first time I heard of the Pellermodel concept, the art of creating "true 3D paper objects". Now Bandai is planning to sell "Pellermodel" (brand name) kits, which make it possible for users to build a small, humanoid-like 3D object with one's own face on it (or that of anyone you like). All that users need to do is to upload a face picture, access Bandai's dedicated Pellermodel website [JP], print and attach the picture on the model's head. Your "3D" figure can then be pressed out in seconds.
