Hey, look: It’s Jerry Seinfeld using a Mac! Someone call Bill Gates or something!
Posted on October 29, 2009 | No CommentsRemember those Microsoft ads from a little over a year ago, the ones with Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates trying on shoes? Of course you do; it's all the Internet talked about for days. I present to you this shocking photo: Seinfeld using a Mac!

Yikes: Hulu flirts with, yes, having you pay to watch it.
Posted on October 23, 2009 | No CommentsHey, remember Hulu.com? It was a Web site that sort of came out of nowhere, and offered streaming TV shows from NBC and other networks. It was ad-supported, and free. People liked it. And then, one day, in October, 2009, a completely bonkers TV executive all but killed it with one sentence: “It’s time to start getting paid for broadcast content online.”

Dear Hollywood: Wanna stop BitTorrent piracy of your TV shows? Make them available overseas in a timely manner!
Posted on October 5, 2009 | No CommentsWhat's wrong with sites like Hulu? Well nothing, per se, except for the fact that they can't be used anywhere outside of the Unites States. As if other countries don't want to watch... um, really great shows like “Extreme Makeover” and “The [American] Office”! Perhaps that's why, then, BitTorrent site EZTV has seen traffic double, mainly from non-American IPs, in the past year? For whatever reason, people want to watch these shows, but since there's no legal outlet to do so, well, it's not exactly hard to configure uTorrent or Transmission, now is it?

Posted on September 29, 2009 | No CommentsMy sincerest apologies for not putting this on here sooner, but I've been busying Warsong Gulch. Anyhow, here we have one of the funniest men on Planet Earth (along with Louis CK and Ron Bennington), Larry David, in the opening scene of this week's episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, dealing with something that we've all had to deal with: opening that damn plastic shell that surrounds our electronics.

Video: I never did think I’d see Kimbo Slice yelling at a caterpillar for Symantec, but here we are
Posted on September 20, 2009 | No CommentsEven casual fight fans know that last night was UFC 103 and Mayweather vs. Marquez. No spoilers here, of course, but I do encourage you all to, I don't know, buy the replays or find them wherever you find things these days. While on the topic of mixed martial arts, full credit to whatever marketing company put this ad together for Norton Anti-virus. Yes, that's Kimbo Slice, and he's admonishing a caterpillar.
