It seems that Clayton Morris, from FoxNews, has confirmed from a "source inside Apple" that there will be a "big" event in January 26th. This source also stated that the event will focus on the mobility space, which could actually mean a lot of different things. That is if there is if this event even is real.

Family Guy’s “Something Something Something Dark Side” trailer
Posted on November 11, 2009 | No Comments
Everyone agrees that the first Family Guy Star Wars parody, Blue Harvest, was TV at its finest, right? It was such a big hit that Fox is going to release the second one on DVD on December 22 before airing it on TV with the hope fans will actually spend money and buy the damn thing. If the trailer is any indication of the episode's awesomeness, some people might actually do just that. Who knows, maybe even me.

We all know that the new Star Trek was the best movie of all time - I'm serious - but how about the upcoming Blu-ray release? Well, Blu-ray.com takes Blu-ray releases and grades them on four levels: Movie, Video, Audio, and Extras. The upcoming Star Trek release scored a perfect five out of five in each category. Yeah, it's that awesome.

Lesson of the day: Ask just one more question
Posted on November 4, 2009 | No CommentsThis monster box was just dropped in my livingroom by Fedex. I can’t tell you what it is right now but don’t get that excited about the contents. The damn thing shouldn’t even be on CrunchGear. When I agreed to the early look, I didn’t ask enough questions instead I blinded agreed to review it. What [...] -
Video: Wherein CBS makes a fool of itself by showing it has no idea what it’s talking about re: movie piracy
Posted on November 3, 2009 | No CommentsBias much, CBS? The network ran a report on 60 Minutes the other day (which shows how far off our radar the show is, seeing as though we just found out about it) that, according to TechDirt's fantastic report, is basically a piece of MPAA propaganda. It makes all sorts of ridiculous claims that can easily be disproven by, you know, spending two minutes looking this stuff up.

Posted on November 2, 2009 | No CommentsDamn, xkcd comics. I got up early this morning – with a little help from the time change – with good intentions. That was until I saw the new xkcd comic that charts character grouping throughout some of the most epic movies. I wasted my morning looking at this damn thing and you probably will [...] -
When two worlds collide, the Transformers Rubix cube emerges
Posted on October 21, 2009 | No CommentsYeah, we get it. It’s a Rubix Cube that’s supposed to look like the AllSpark of Transformers’ lore. Clever. Hopefully those shinny stickers come off nice and easy so I can solve the damn thing. $13.99 and coming in November. [Entertainment Earth via Gearfuse] -
The Dell Adamo XPS’s pricing has been revealed, the usual questions remain
Posted on October 19, 2009 | No Comments
Dell has been playing the media with the Adamo XPS with tid-bits of info here and there. First there was a teaser site, followed by a lackluster press conference, and then two more product shots. At least the price has been finally released by a Business Week article, which states the halo computer will carry a $2,000 price tag. But other than that expect price tag and a little gimmick heat-sensing strip on the lid that, when swiped with a finger, glows white and opens the lid, the Adamo XPS is still a mystery.

Video: Some kid makes the PSP that Sony should have made 5 years ago
Posted on October 6, 2009 | No CommentsSony would do well to hire the man who put this PSP mod together. It's basically what the PSP should have been since Day One: a built-in camera, 32GB of flash memory, and a second analog stick. Well, you have to stretch the definition of analog stick here; it's that nub thing.

HTC HD2! United States! Q1 2010!
Posted on October 6, 2009 | No CommentsBam! There we were complaining that it would likely be a long time before the mind-blowingly gorgeous HTC HD2 showed its face stateside, and SlashGear managed to get a date out of them. According to HTC CEO Peter Chou, we should see this hit the shores sometime in Q1 of 2010. Sure, it’ll still be [...]

Gamers have it made nowadays. In the old days, they would have to deal with computer peripherals that were meant for an office environment and not tailored to meet their gaming needs. But that's changed. Now even
