Call of Duty: Black Ops, now rumored: Developed by Treyarch, set between World War II and today
Posted on March 29, 2010 | No CommentsSo what to make of this latest Call of Duty rumor? The seventh game in the series will be named Call of Duty: Black Ops, and will take place between the end of World War II and the present day. It won't necessarily "be" a Vietnam War game, but will have missions that take place all over the world. Remember: it's being developed by Treyarch (i.e. not Infinity Ward), the same dudes who developed Call of Duty 3 and Call of Duty: World at War.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii is now the fastest-selling game on a single console to reach 10 million units sold worldwide. The previous record holder was Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Good riddance: 2,500 cheaters banned from Modern Warfare 2
Posted on November 30, 2009 | No CommentsWhat is the allure of cheating in video games online? Who takes team deathmatches so seriously that he needs unlimited ammo, no clipping, infinite life, and other assorted nonsense? It's stupid, and if you try to cheat online you deserve to be banned. So forgive me for not giving a damn about the 2,500 people that were just banned from non-dedicated servers for cheating in Modern Warfare 2.

And the Left 4 Dead 2 boycott, how’s that going?
Posted on November 17, 2009 | No CommentsIt turned out that a lot of those so-called Modern Warfare 2 protesters were talking jive, as they played the game late into the night, alone with their hypocrisy. (It's overdramatic Tuesday, by the way.) How did the Left 4 Dead II protesters do?

Modern Warfare 2 gets dedicated servers while angels sing above
Posted on November 16, 2009 | No CommentsAll around the world, virgins and baby seals are weeping in joy as dedicated servers have finally been enabled in Modern Warfare 2. It all has to do with that development console hack that surfaced over the weekend. Now, modders and cheaters alike can tune the game to their liking as the video after the jump clearly shows. Awesome!
