iPhone 4 gets its first unboxing [Gallery] (Update: More pics!) (Update #2: And video!)

As handfuls of iPhone 4s begin to slip through the cracks and into the grabby hands of hungry phone fans everywhere, the first batches of unboxing pictures are starting to go live as we type this. (You mean these people aren't waiting to open up their phones with the rest of us chumps on Thursday mornings? Jerks! You guys probably peeked at your Christmas presents as a kid, too. [Just kidding, of course -- tear those things apart.]) We're keeping an eye out for galleries as they go up; if you're amongst the many hundreds of thousands waiting on the edge of the seat, join as after the jump for these last minute teases.

    Engadget Mobile Podcast 040 – 05.27.2010

Hey y'all, we are back! Was it worth the wait? Things have been a little loco since we last rapped at ya, so you know there's going to some strange stuff going down in this podcast -- EVO 4G analysis from the pedestrian (kickstand worship) to the positively Ziegleresque (Froyo - delicious enough to be worth the wait?), and speculation on a few devices found in the bottom of executives' dumpsters. Also, at the end of the show Chris turns into a robot. A real robot. Don't ask us how he does it, but you can hear it in his voice. Amazing!

    Host:
    Chris Ziegler
    Special Guest: Ross Miller
Producer / Special Guest: Trent Wolbe
Music: Daestro - Light Powered (Ghostly International)

    00:04:47 - EVO 4G
    00:22:20 - Froyo
    00:40:50 - HTC Aria for AT&T
    00:46:37 - Droid Shadow
    00:53:57 - iPhone 3G discontinued?
    00:59:04 - BlackBerry 9800
    01:01:08 - LG Fathom

Meet Marc Flores, the new MobileCrunch writer

I begged and pleaded with Greg, editor of MobileCrunch, not to make me write this, but it looks like I'm stuck introducing myself to you all. So in my best Troy McClure voice let me say: Hi, my name is Marc Flores. You might remember me from popular sites such as Boy Genius Report or True/Slant.

This is nice. HP is letting me give away a brand new EX495 MediaSmart Sever to go along with my review. To win the 1.5TB Windows Home Server server, you’re going to have to play a little game. Don’t worry, it’s easy. No scavenger hunt this time. All you need to do is guess the total [...]

    Engadget Mobile Podcast 027 – 10.08.2009

Just a quick show this week live from the floor of CTIA Wireless IT & Entertainment 2009, where we're refreshingly seeing tons of Android gear; what we're not seeing a whole lot of is co-host Sean Cooper who's on vacation this week, so Chris holds it down with a half-hour of rambling to himself. Enjoy!
