Waaay back in February, we told you guys a tale of the HTC Scorpion, a mighty beast of a phone. Packing Android 2.2 and a 1.5 Ghz (!) processor, it could very well be the phone that everyone lusts over after their love for the current king, the EVO 4G, tapers.
Take it as you will for now, but we just got a heads up from a generally well-informed source that the Scorpion is headed for.... [insert drumroll here]

HTC Tattoo to get the bumpgrade to Android 2.1?

The Tattoo might have been designed to be dirt cheap, but that doesn't mean HTC doesn't love it as much as the rest of their phones.
French Android site Frandroid shot a note to HTC to see whether or not the Tattoo would be getting the Android 2.1 treatment. Their response? Drumroll, please.

Take the MacBook Air, shrink the screen down an inch, slap in some netbook components, and load it up with Windows 7 Release Candidate and -- drumroll, please -- you've got the iiView A2 out of Singapore. Oh, and lower the price to $468. That's kind of important there.
