Nintendo trademarks “3DS” among others
Posted on May 18, 2010 | No Comments
Backstory: A Nintendo suit said a while back that the company hasn't announced the official name yet for its upcoming handheld 3D gaming device. This of course suggests that 3DS isn't the official name.
Well, that might not be true if Nintendo's recent trademark filings have anything to say about it.

Blood sugar testing game and accessory coming for the Nintendo DS
Posted on April 27, 2010 | No Comments
Childhood diabetes sucks, there's no way around it. Testing is annoying and uncomfortable for adults, much lets kids, and the testing technology isn't exactly what you'd call fun or interesting. Heaven forefend! Has Nintendo’s 3DS announcement killed the DSi XL?
Posted on March 31, 2010 | No CommentsNOT FOR KIDS! In all honesty, I don’t think the DSi XL is part of Nintendo’s standard line-up. It’s a reaction to the popularity of the Wii in retirement centers and is aimed at a much older – and much different audience – than the new 3D DS, aptly named the 3DS. Older folks who may [...] -

Remember that DSi XL that's coming out next week? Well, I hope you didn't spend a bunch of money in the DSiWare store with your regular size DSi. Yep, turns out that you can't transfer games to your new hand-held. That really sucks.

Posted on February 25, 2010 | No Comments
That bastion of fine games reporting, Bloomberg News, has a story on a new cart called "Classic Books" that will contain the greatest, public domain, royalty-free hits from Mark Twain and William Shakespeare.
After trying to find a way to remotely control their DSLRs, the clever hackers at HDRLabs couldn't really find anything that would do what they wanted. So what did they do?
