Posted on February 12, 2010 | No CommentsA school district in Arizona has outfitted one of its school buses with a $200 mobile 3G Wi-Fi router and $60-per-month access. And guess what? Instead of punching each other and yelling all the way to school, the kids quietly tap, tap, tap away on their laptops.
Posted on February 3, 2010 | No CommentsThis image is proof that opening up space travel to private industry will speed up colonization and tourism. Apparently there’s already flights on the moon. That or a plane just so happened to get in the frame of a 500mm telephoto lens. [via reddit]

Posted on August 19, 2009 | No CommentsI just got back from one of Bose’s signature demos where they trick you into seeing their products in a whole new light. It’s clever and it sometimes works. The trick went down like this: they showed us the QuietComfort 2 headphones, the older model, and ran about 92 decibels of airplane noise in a [...]
Posted on August 18, 2009 | No CommentsShort Version: The In Your Face viewbase is everything you’d want from a phone stand and then some. With an 8-inch adjustable neck, swiveling head and adjustable clip, the IYF is perfect for flights or long car rides. Unlike the $25 iZel, we think the IYF is worth the $30 price tag.
Posted on July 15, 2009 | No CommentsAny in-flight Wi-Fi fans in the audience? Listen up, kids. Aircell announced new pricing for their Gogo service today and it applies to those flying extremely short distances, like 1.5 hours. If you’re on a flight that’s less than 1.5 hours you’ll be forking over $6 and those of you looking for a 24-hour pass [...]
