John Carmack: Expect new game system ‘earlier rather than later’
Posted on August 11, 2009 | No CommentsLet's say you get home from work or class, you make some dinner, and sit down to play an hour or so of Game 2: The Game. You're cool with that; you have no reason to shell out $500 to buy another video game system this autumn. But, oh! Wait! What's this? John Carmack seems to think that, despite the fact that there's nothing wrong with this generation of consoles just yet, someone may announce a new video game system “earlier rather than later.”

Nikon D3000, D300s get pictured
Posted on June 30, 2009 | No Comments
Well, well. We told you that Nikon was going to launch two DSLR cameras this summer. These two are probably them and we need to point out that Nikon is getting good "leaking" pics of unannounced cameras. Foxconn shows off Moblin-running SZ901 netbook
Posted on May 29, 2009 | No Comments
Well, it wasn't too hard to see this trend coming, but it looks like Foxconn is among the first out of the gate with a Moblin-running netbook at Computex Taipei, with its new SZ901 model opting for Linpus' just-revealed distribution of the OS. As you might expect, however, there aren't exactly many surprises beyond that welcome addition, with the 10.1-inch netbook packing the usual Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, and built-in 3G, along with a glossy finish all around. No word on a price or release date just yet, but this is Foxconn after all, so there's a good chance this one could be showing up under any number of different brands. Head on past the break for a quick hands-on courtesy of the folks at Netbooknews.de.Continue reading Foxconn shows off Moblin-running SZ901 netbook

Rogers Canada has let the proverbial ninja out of the dojo by posting a "comparison chat" of multiple iPhone models, including the elusive 8GB 3GS. Why are they selling the 8GB? Who knows. Maybe it's a little bit cheaper and maybe Apple just had extra 8GB chips. Or maybe Canadians, being socialists, don't like digital media.
UPDATE - This was a website mistake. It's being fixed right now. There is no 8GB 3GS.
