LG and iriver unveil the LB4400: the Korean Zunephone without the Zune (video)
Posted on May 26, 2010 | No CommentsLittle iriver has long been one of our favorite companies when it comes to innovative product design. Unfortunately, the Korean outfit responsible for about half of all digital audio players sold in its home country has all but disappeared from the international stage. Today it returns with the jointly developed LG-LB4400 musicphone. As the name indicates, LG is the muscle behind the cellphone internals (and apparently the industrial design) whereas iriver contributed the media player and UI elements. Specwise, we're looking at a 2.8-inch WQVGA LCD display, 3 megapixel camera, DMB TV, Dolby Surround Mobile, and support for a wide range of audio codecs including FLAC and APE. No word on price or availability but we've got a slow-loading video for you after the break.Continue reading LG and iriver unveil the LB4400: the Korean Zunephone without the Zune (video)

Hello Kitty Music Player Premium
Posted on December 4, 2009 | No Comments
The Hello Kitty Music Player Crystal, made in cooperation with luxury brand Swarovski, I blogged about in October drew the attention of quite a few (mostly female) CrunchGear readers. One of the problems was the price: $150 for a fairly basic music player isn't cheap. But now Japan-based Mouse Computer, in cooperation with iriver Japan, is offering a similar device. And their so-called Hello Kitty Music Player Premium [JP] is less expensive.

Japan gets ultra-cute Hello Kitty music player with sparkling Swarovski crystals
Posted on October 26, 2009 | No Comments
Hello Kitty is 35 years old now, and she still continues to be the dream cartoon cat of millions of teenage girls. If you're one of these people and have a penchant for gadgets on top of that, this new and strictly limited music player might be the right thing for you. The so-called Hello Kitty Music Player Crystal [JP] is the result of a cooperation between iriver Japan, Hello Kitty company Sanrio and luxury brand Swarovski Crystal.

Posted on May 27, 2009 | No CommentsAlright. This is good news. The fantastic iriver P35 is coming to America this Fall. We still don’t know exactly what the US-spec model be like, but hopefully it will be at least close to the Asian model.
