Video: LG Panther WinPho 7 phone starts up for all to see
Posted on May 25, 2010 | No Comments
Would ya looky here! Looks like someone over at Innovative Singapore has posted a video that shows what it would be like to turn on a WinPho 7 phone for the very first time.
The device shown in the video (and right here) is the LG Panther, which has been making its way around the webs for a little while now.
It seems that LG will ditch the "Panther" monicker for a much more memorable "GW910", which is an issue I'll be taking up with their marketers directly.

A quick hands-on with the LG Ally
Posted on May 13, 2010 | No Comments
Phone Arena have landed themselves a not-yet-released LG Ally, and have documented their first encounter with the device for all you fine folk in Interwebland.
I think it's safe to say that the stand-out feature of this phone is that it has a QWERTY keyboard, so if the keyboard is a dud, the phone would be significantly less compelling.
Well, I'm happy to say that Phone Arena give it the thumbs up, calling it a "pleasant surprise" that's more comfortable than the DROID's keyboard.

Sprint LG Lotus Elite announced
Posted on January 8, 2010 | No CommentsRemember that quirky little square LG phone from last year, the Lotus? Well, they’ve gone and made another one: the Lotus Elite. This ought to sound pretty familiar for anyone who’s been reading MobileCrunch for a while, as we scooped all the details on this handset (sans the name) way back in October. All of the [...] -
LG eXpo hits the shelves 10 days late, projector attachment still M.I.A
Posted on December 17, 2009 | No CommentsI’m not sure if there were anybody was waiting in lines outside of AT&T stores when the LG eXpo launched last week – but if they were, they left sorely disappointed. Without much notice or acknowledgement, the eXpo’s December 7th launch date came and went. Just shy of two weeks later, the eXpo is now available [...] -
LG to announce Snapdragon-boasting Android phone, Korea-bound in 2010
Posted on November 6, 2009 | No CommentsFiled under: Handsets, LG, Android
It's looking like LG will be offering an Android phone boasting Qualcomm's hot Snapdragon chip -- which has recently squeezed its way into handsets such as the Xperia X10 and Acer's Liquid. The new LG mobile phone is expected for the Korean market in the second quarter of 2010. While the device is still unnamed and specs are still a mystery, LG is promising that the device will be "more mature" than the GW620 Eve, an Android device announced earlier this week for Rogers in Canada. There's no solid word on what availability of the device will be like, though LG says its considering possibilities outside of Korea.

Video: LG GD910 Watch phone does video
Posted on July 28, 2009 | No CommentsDick Tracy, eat your heart out. Better yet, do it whilst having a live video chat with someone on the LG GD910. So, yes - the LG GD910 Wrist phone does video chat. Unfortunately, all signs point at this thing costing roughly the same as a down payment on a new Honda, and it’s pretty likely [...] -
