Lingo Debuts 15 New Translators at CES

Lingo, the maker of talking and multi-lanaguage translators, have debuted more then 15 different translators at CES. The units announced ranging from models with six languages, all the way to 52 languages — prices range from $19.95 to $299.
Lingo has versions of it's translator for students well, the WorldMate 6 goes for $19.95, and includes 30,000 words, and 720 phrases in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Dutch. It also has one touch language icons featuring the country flags, which allow users to switch easily between languages.

We're onto you, Wally World. Granted, you already confessed that you'd be dishing out a deal a week until sometime in the future, but hey, we'll feign surprise without thinking twice. Next week's bargain is a good one for those in the market for one of RIM's handsets, as Walmart shoppers will be given a $100 gift card (to Walmart, obviously) if they purchase practically any BlackBerry phone on a 2-year contract from AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile or Verizon Wireless. Verizon announces early store openings for DROID launch

We'd already heard through the grapevine that select Verizon Wireless stores would be cracking their doors open early to deal with the presumed flood of
consumers"Humans" eager to snap up the first-ever Android 2.0 device, and now the carrier has come right out with the official details. We're told that "many" of its over 2,000 retail locations will open at either 7AM or 8AM local time to field orders for the DROID, though VZW mall stores will all open at their regular time. You should check with your local store to see exactly when they'll open, and while we can't guarantee it, we'd guess that having an Android-related tattoo on your person is a good way to get VIP treatment once you arrive on scene.
