    Review: AViiQ portable laptop stand

My general opinion is that laptops were made for laps. But sometimes your lap just isn't convenient for comfortable for a laptop. There is no shortage of laptop stands, shelves, and supports available for purchase, but few strike the sweet spot that the AViiQ portable laptop stand does. It's super thin, super light, and folds up to consume a negligible amount of space, making it a no-brainer to include in your already-full laptop bag.

  • What’s the bigger seller: New Super Mario Bros. Wii or Modern Warfare 2?

What’s the bigger seller: New Super Mario Bros. Wii or Modern Warfare 2?

So by now you probably already have Modern Warfare 2, have beaten the single-player mode (cheap shot!), and have been killed within three seconds of re-spawning in multi-player mode more times than you'd care to admit. Great, good for you. Something that has been taken for granted, though, is that the game will be one of the best-selling games of the year, if not the best-selling. Hold your horses, partner, because an Electronic Entertainment Design and Research analyst has said that New Super Mario Bros. Wii will well outsell Modern Warfare 2 when it's all said and done.

100,000. That's the number of iPhone apps that have been approved to be sold on Apple's App Store. So how the hell do you decide which ones to buy? Japanese researchers work on 1,000-year memory device

Hard disks and recording media to store data are great and all, but especially for sensitive information (such as corporate data) longevity and reliability are major problems. DuPont crafts ultra longevous OLED materials, which likely won’t be affordable

DuPont's been dabbling in OLED advancement for years now, and while the world waits for the introduction of market-ready big-screen OLED HDTVs, engineers at the miracle-working company are toiling away to make sure those very sets last quite some time. For anyone following the OLED TV scene, you'll know that luminance longevity has been a nagging issue, but if new developments pan out, stamina will be the least of our worries. In fact, the firm has crafted a green light-emitting material that can purportedly push onward for over a hundred years... continuously. Furthermore, the same scientists have engineered a new blue light-emitting material with a luminance half-life of 38,000 hours along with a red light-emitting material with a life of 62,000 hours. Unfortunately for the laypeople out there, we can't imagine this stuff being even marginally affordable -- but hey, it's great news for the sybarites!
