Video: LG Panther WinPho 7 phone starts up for all to see

Would ya looky here! Looks like someone over at Innovative Singapore has posted a video that shows what it would be like to turn on a WinPho 7 phone for the very first time. The device shown in the video (and right here) is the LG Panther, which has been making its way around the webs for a little while now. It seems that LG will ditch the "Panther" monicker for a much more memorable "GW910", which is an issue I'll be taking up with their marketers directly.

    iCitizen 2010 Symposium: Recap

So, one week later, I was going to recap the iCitizen Symposium by highlighting all the presentations that took place, but I came to the conclusion that I couldn’t possibly do a better job documenting the event than the event blog did all by itself. Captured by Resource Interactive Creative Director Karen Scholl (@kscholl), this [...]

HTC Incredible Revealed on Verizon Staging Site, To Be Called “Droid Incredible”

This is about as firm a leak as you can get: the HTC Incredible has been revealed on a Verizon staging site. Not the greatest of names, no, but I'll give the marketers extra points for consistency.

The Apogee Astro Drive Series A101 from Chaintech is apparently the world’s smallest USB 3.0 drive

USB 3.0 is finally getting some traction in the market place as more products are announced from more manufacturers. Chaintech just intro'd its first USB 3.0 drive and slapped the notorious "world's smallest" label on it, which is probably true although a bit disingenuous as there's only about three USB 3.0 flash drives available right now.

Anticipating the Apple Tablet: When journalism becomes fanfiction

For the record, I'm writing these words on a MacBook Pro; the third Mac I've owned in the past twelve months. As I do so, I'm listening to music on iTunes through my standard issue iPod headphones, so as not to disturb my neighbours. Less than a foot from where I'm sitting, my iPhone sits charging. I am - as marketers might have it put - "a Mac". And yet - my God - I'm bored of reading about Apple and their 'long awaited' tablet.

Tingalin releases Jersey Shore iPhone app before MTV

Tingalin, the makers of the world-famous Tingalin app, have outdone themselves. Their new app, based on the magic of the Jersey Shore but not directly affiliated with the MTV show in any way features a number of useful tools for the Situation-in-training. While the upcoming “fake tan” system is not yet in place, the app [...]
