Is this the iPhone 4G IV Next-Gen X screen?
Posted on March 29, 2010 | No Comments
NowhereElse found this delightful video of someone unpacking a iPhone "4G" screen, presumably sent to them from the same folks who sent something to iResq.
The screen basically looks like the standard iPhone 3G screen but a bit longer and thinner. This could either be a prototype, a mistake, or a test screen made by a Chinese company for purposes unknown. However, the music accompanying the video will make your morning, provided you have a glowsticks handy.

OK Go’s amazing Rube Goldberg music video
Posted on March 2, 2010 | No CommentsSo you thought OK Go was a one trick pony, right? They did the old treadmill trick and we were all like “Wow! Amazing!” but take a look at this action. These guys basically recorded this in a single shot, arriving in their places with just as all sorts of crazy things happen. Seriously: color me [...] -
First Impressions: Windows Mobile 7, now known as Windows Phone
Posted on February 15, 2010 | No CommentsWe’re not allowed to say much about it, so we’ll leave it at this: I got a bit of hands-on time with Windows Phone (the official name for what was previously known as Windows Mobile 7) prior to its announcement. I’ll have a bunch more to say about it once I’ve spent some time with [...] -
Shaimus finally releases a music video for “Like a Fool”
Posted on December 17, 2009 | No CommentsLook. It’s 1 AM, I’ve had a few too many White Russians, and something out on the street outside of my apartment keeps making a horrible buzzing noise. Don’t bother me with that “WHY IS THIS ON A GADGET BLOG?” nonsense. If you’ve ever played Rock Band 2, you’ve heard Shaimus’ Like A Fool – at [...] -

Paul Wall shoots an entire music video on an iPhone 3GS
Posted on September 24, 2009 | No Comments
While this certainly isn't the first time -- we've seen a music video shot on an iPhone (or even the first time one has been shot with the 3GS), it is the first time we've seen it done by someone with.. you know, money.

Please observe the ‘Xbox 1080′ handheld console prototype
Posted on September 9, 2009 | No Comments
Not-actually-real portable Xbox 360 anyone? Here's the "Xbox 1080" prototype from Carl Archambeault, an impossibly portable console with a slide-out LCD screen. Where do the optical discs go? Who knows? And what's the battery life? Let's say 100 hours!

For sale on craigslist: a porn laptop for $30
Posted on July 21, 2009 | No Comments
You have to give it up to this guy for being so honest. He clearly states how he has used the 8-year old laptop and is now offering it up to whoever brings him $30. That's not that bad of a deal if you look at his listing, which describes the years of dedication that went into crafting this notebook.

She’s my final fantasy: G4’s ‘Girl at the Video Game Store’ music video is unexpectedly really good
Posted on July 10, 2009 | No CommentsOh, how I wanted to hate this video. Yesterday was the thousandth episode of Attack of the Show—how did you celebrate?—and while I only caught about two minutes in between commercials of whatever else I was watching (I think it was a documentary about salt; I'm not joking), I did manage to catch the tail end of this video. It's “The Girl at the Video Game Store,” a song written by Parry Gripp; the video was directed by Michael W. Shaw, of G4.

Goodnight, sweet Mino: Music Video shot end-to-end on an iPhone 3GS
Posted on July 7, 2009 | No Comments
Hm - perhaps those iPhone 3GS mounts aren't as silly as we thought (Not really- they're still silly.)
When videographer Kenny Mosher was tasked with shooting a music video for acoustic-folk band BJSR, he decided to skip the usual rig for something a bit more relevant in the moment: the iPhone 3GS.

Technologic Overkill: First Music Promo Shot on iPhone
Posted on July 3, 2009 | No CommentsIt’s a little slow paced for a music video, but Steve Ellington’s “Technologic Overkill”, shows us what we all knew already. It’s not the camera that counts, but what you do with it. Steve says the video is the “first music video shot on an iPhone 3GS,” and we won’t argue — it’s certainly the [...]
