    “Like”: Japanese venture begins accepting orders for new electric car

    Japan's newest electric car isn't made by one of the nation's many major automakers, but sometimes it needs a venture to accelerate potentially positive developments in rather conservative industries. Boutique automaker Mitsuoka Motor has now begun accepting orders [JP, PDF] for "Like" [JP], a 5-seat electric car that's based on Mitsubishi Motors's i-MiEV (the Like was unveiled earlier this year).

    Is this a Droid running Android 2.2?

    Call us skeptical but we're not quite sure this is legit. A regular on myDroidWorld's forums just posted a bunch of screenshots that are supposed to be a Droid running Froyo. There are shots of the app launcher, new Car Home, the camera, and updated search options. Really everything but the About Phone screen which will show the phone's model number, firmware, and kernal version -- you know, everything that would confirm his claims. So yeah, this might be the first look at the Droid running Android 2.2 or, well, it's not.

    Ford revealed recently that they've had over 1,000 pre-orders placed online, using their new car-reservation site for the 2011 Ford Fiesta. The Fiesta has been available in the UK since last year, but this will be the first time in many years since there has been a new Fiesta in the US.

    The Dell Adamo XPS’s pricing has been revealed, the usual questions remain

    Dell has been playing the media with the Adamo XPS with tid-bits of info here and there. First there was a teaser site, followed by a lackluster press conference, and then two more product shots. At least the price has been finally released by a Business Week article, which states the halo computer will carry a $2,000 price tag. But other than that expect price tag and a little gimmick heat-sensing strip on the lid that, when swiped with a finger, glows white and opens the lid, the Adamo XPS is still a mystery.
