Oops! HTC Droid Incredible takes snapshots of sites you visit, hangs on to them after a hard reset

Thinking of selling your Droid Incredible? If you're a mob-boss, peruser of the freaky-deaky, or someone who visits websites with sensitive data on their handset, you might want to hold off.
Turns out, the Droid Incredible is snapping shots of the sites you visit for use with the built-in Bookmarks widget. That, in itself, isn't a big deal; there are a dozen traces of every website you visit on just about any device, mobile or not. The unfortunate part is just how hard it is to get rid of these ones.

4 years ago, a Verizon customer signed up for a plan. Said plan included 2 years of free data usage, which the customer did take advantage of, and use to tether his laptop. Then one day, disaster!

Oops! Looks like someone spilled the news about HP's new Mini 210 netbook. The new netbook (if the site is to be believed) will be running the new Intel N455 chipset, the successor to the N450. The N455 runs at 1.55GHz, and is expected to support the newer DDR3 RAM.

Oops! Looks like someone accident let some information out early. AMDs "Thuban" processors will be out next month, and there wasn't a whole lot of information out there until recently. Turns out that somebody talked. Well, at least someone's BIOS talked.

Google Nexus One support page goes live, quickly dies again

Wondering how to activate your shiny new Nexus One? Curious how to get started with the thing, or how to use the 3D gallery? Oh, wait, you don't have yours yet? Oops. Google seems to have posted its support page for the phone a little early, a little site that went live for just a few minutes -- just long enough for us to click through a little, read that Terms of Service that was leaked to us last week, and watch a few videos. The first one that came up is actually the walkthrough for Android 2.0, curiously, but the other videos showed 3D photo gallery and some other goodies. Now they show nothing, though, having been set private and the pages removed. Surely they'll be up again soon, with the device getting announced tomorrow, and while we're still not sure exactly when you'll be able to get your own, you're always welcome to enjoy our hands-on impressions.

Duhwaaaah? Verizon was workin' all hard this morning to ensure that no one slipped up and mentioned any names when it came to the devices that would emerge from the VZW/Google partnership. Then, not even an hour later, they put a picture of Google CEO Eric Schmidt and Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam holding two separate devices in their own press release. Bloops!

When the UPS man dropped off Crackberry user Kurpaige's brand new Tour from Sprint, it was a matter of seconds before the gadget was in hand. The shipping box was torn to shreds, now little more than a pile of tape and corrugated cardboard. The paper packaging was thrown aside, and the Sprint-branded box delicately dismantled. There it was, in all of its glory: a Verizon-brand BlackBerry Tour. Wait, what?
