It’s official: here’s the scoop on Panasonic’s new G2 and G10 cameras
Posted on March 7, 2010 | No Comments
So we finally have the official press release from Panasonic, we of course got a glimpse of the G2 and G10 the other day, but now we know all the news that's fit to share. Both look like some decent kit, and a definite step up from most of the P&S cameras out there.

New micro four-thirds Panasonic causes drool, consternation
Posted on September 2, 2009 | No Comments
We saw this thing a little while ago and now it is real. The Panasonic DMC-GF1 is a micro four-thirds camera with 12-megapixel sensor, 1080p video recording, and nice image quality.
After seeing the lackluster EP1 I am worried the M4/3 world might be too hard to handle, even for DSLR lovers. However, I'm willing to give this old girl a try.

Early stills are rather impressive, with images being sharp, crisp and generally delightful to stare at. As for video, it's tough to judge the real quality based on a YouTube rendition, but feel free to glean what you can just after the break. So, if you weren't sold already, are you now?

Come on, who's had a tech boner over the red and white Panasonic Lumix GF1? Be honest. Maybe their attraction all this time over the standard black model was that they were always hard to come by here in the States, available only from shady ebay sellers. But no worries, Amazon finally has them available for purchase -- through a shady 3rd party reseller.
