Sennheiser and Adidas have partnered up for a special version of their earphones. In all the models that were announced, they all feature a loudspeaker, and a volume controller built directly on the earphone cable. The cables are fiber-reinforced and remain flexible to temperatures as low as minus 10, according to Sennheiser.
All the earphones also feature different ergonomically designed ear pieces. For the MX 680 stereo model, Sennheiser has developed a patent-pending EarFin holding system, which they say will ensure that the earpieces fit and stay on your ear comfortably.

For men on trains: Japanese company sells anti-groping gloves
Posted on December 29, 2009 | No Comments
Groping women in trains (or anywhere, really) isn't only happening in Japan, but this country with its big cities with trains that are full of people (=easy bait for gropers) everyday has a particularly big problem with molesters. Enhance your MP3s all you want with iDFX Audio Enhancer. They still suck.
Posted on October 20, 2009 | No Comments
iDFX Audio Enhancer is an add-on to iTunes that serves to, "re-encode your current MP3 and AAC files using a patent-pending method that repairs the damage and lost harmonics that occurred during the original encoding process". Sounds like doublespeak to me for a $40 EQ and extrapolative guesswork. And the demo of iDFX sounds like just that. if you want good sounding audio, stop buying MP3s. And if you want smaller file sizes, start compressing with FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, or any number of lossless codecs.

Look! Up in the sky! It’s ColdAvenger! No! It’s a guy on skis wearing a ColdAvenger mask! He’s about to land on me! That fortune cookie was right! “You will fall on a ski hill and it’ll hurt enough that you’ll lay there for a little while looking up at the sky. Just when you’re about to stand up, some guy in a ColdAvenger mask will take the same jump you just did and will land right on top of you. Have you ever read a fortune cookie that was this long? Amazing, huh?”
