Quartet of Dell Streaks spotted in the wild in Seattle, testing for AT&T
Posted on May 20, 2010 | No CommentsIt's not often you see four unreleased gadgets rather unceremoniously attached to a plank of wood on the sidewalk, but that's exactly what Seattle Times blogger Brier Dudley spotted: four Dell Streaks all in a row. AT&T network technicians were apparently verifying performance of the devices on the company's 3G network and also ensuring their ability to send accurate e-911 information. Among the four was a bright crimson model, but sadly the pink and orange versions we're holding out for were not present on this particular piece of timber. We should be just a few weeks away from the Streak going fully public, at which point you can hopefully find something a little more suitable to attach yours to.

Posted on March 5, 2010 | No Comments
We're still trying our darnedest to not feed the hype machine surrounding Project Pink, considering that all signs are indicating that neither phone is anything to get worked up about.
With that said, a couple of new shots of the Turtle (the stout, portrait sliding QWERTY handset) and the Pure (the horizontal QWERTY handset pictured above) have just leaked out, along with some information about its impending launch on Verizon. Check it all out after the jump.

Project Pink Microsoft phones coming to Verizon
Posted on March 4, 2010 | No Comments>
Remember Project Pink? Whatever Microsoft's secret hardware initiative was? Well, it's real and it's coming to Verizon. You'll see the Turtle, shown here, first, and it will be sort of a Sidekick that won't run Windows Phone. Verizon will launch this like they did the Droid, aiming the might of their armies at flogging this to the feature phone user.

Microsoft gearing up to announce Windows Mobile 7 on February 15, project Pink moves forward
Posted on February 12, 2010 | No Comments
It's finally happening. Maybe. According to sources close to the Wall Street Journal, Microsoft is going to make a pretty big announcement at Mobile World Congress on February 15. After acknowledging that Windows Mobile isn't exactly where it should be in terms of development and progression, Microsoft appears to be ready to announce and unveil Windows Mobile 7. But what happened to WinMo 6.5.3?

Sorry, ladies, the Novero Lexington Bluetooth headset isn't for you. Apparently just for men are the only ones that would want a good-looking brushed steel and piano black headset. Clearly a women doesn't need modern wireless conveniences while she's at home, tending to the children and keeping house.
