Sony PlayStation Move Charging Station: $29, charges two Move controllers simultaneously
Posted on June 16, 2010 | No Comments
Buried in the depth's of Sony's online archives were these photos of the PlayStation Move Charging Station, a device we don't remember seeing at the big E3 booth. Or maybe we're blind. In any event: the Charging Station, as the name implies, charges your Move controllers. Up to two at a time, too.

Time to make your “Move” and pre-order Sony’s latest gadget
Posted on June 16, 2010 | No Comments
Good news Sony fans, turns out that it's time to start warming up that credit card and ordering your PS3 Move controller. It's starting to show up as being available for pre-order (along with a few other tasty bits). Remember it'll be officially available in the US on September 19th, but you might want to pre-order since Sony kind of has a habit of running out of product when they first come out.

PlayStation emulator coming to Android, courtesy of yongzh and ZodTTD
Posted on June 4, 2010 | No CommentsIf you don't know the names yongzh and ZodTTD, you can certainly be forgiven, but they're basically the cell phone emulation dream team -- where the former has been cranking out high-quality Nintendo and Sega emulators for Android, the latter is the one who brought PSX to iPhone, iPhone 3GS and the Palm Pre. Today, we hear they're collaborating on a PSX emulator for Android that's running faster than the 3GS version -- before Froyo's even factored into the equation -- and that when his domination over the PSX is complete, ZodTTD intends to begin work on an Nintendo 64 emulator for Android, and then VLC. Without letting our enthusiasm get the better of us, let's just say it's an exciting time to be an Android owner, to say the least.PlayStation emulator coming to Android, courtesy of yongzh and ZodTTD originally appeared on Engadget on Fri, 04 Jun 2010 21:51:00 EST. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 Now Available for iPhones Everywhere
Posted on April 7, 2010 | No Comments
I have fond memories of playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 on my PlayStation back in high school. I remember trading stories with friends about the biggest tricks I'd pulled, and being astounded at the scores that "a friend of their's" could pull in a single trick. I remember single-mindedly trying to beat those trick scores, re-starting a level each time I bailed so that I could achieve that perfect run. Sadly for me, no other Tony Hawk game that I've played has been able to capture that magic. So I was very pleased to find out that that classic of classics, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, has now been released for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
It's official on. That is the motion control wars and, don't hate, but Nintendo isn't one of the combatants. Nope, this war is clearly between Microsoft and Sony. It's the Kinect vs the Move. Full body tracking vs 1-1 controller tracking. This is going to turn out great for you, me, and both Sony and Microsoft.
