Ion Audio's latest creation in a rather unique take on the pocket camcorder. The Twin Video has two cameras in it, allowing you to record not just what you are seeing, but what your reaction is to what you are seeing. I don't really see the point behind having two cameras built in the device, other than for the "2 girls one cup" style reaction shots.

CES is over for CrunchGear (we'll still be posting some stragglers today and tomorrw) but we'd like to reflect on the best gear we saw at the show. These few days flew by and even with the glut of 3D TVs and ereaders we were actually impressed by a few small, good things that caught our eye on the show floor. Have you ever wondered what pictures look like from a camera that costs more than many cars? I have. I know there are a lot of professionals out there that view DSLRs like the Canon 5D and Nikon D700 as entry-level because they have flashes that cost more than those cameras. Well, DPReview got a hold of the $26,000 Leica S2 and just posted some sample pictures, but don't expect to be blown away.

I could care less about iPod teardowns. I mean, who the hell cares anymore. It's an iPod. But I looked at nearly every picture of iFixit's teardown of the Nikon Coolpix S1000pj. Leica comes clean, announces the M9 and X1

Finally. It seems like there have been a dozen leaks about the Leica M9 and X1 the last couple of weeks, but they are finally announced. It's too bad that the leaks killed all the fun and announced everything already though.
The new M9, which should be available this week, features a very similar body as the M8, but now rocks a 18MP full frame CCD sensor along new button placement for quick access to important settings. Plus, it has new micro lens that should help with performance at the edges of the frame and further justify the £4,850 inc VAT ($8,000 USD) price.

The Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D W1 becomes official, includes 3D movie mode

Time published a bunch of info about Fujifilm's upcoming 3D consumer camera system early last week. The mag talked about how how the FinePix Real 3D W1 the next best thing, which I claimed was doubtful considering its price, but one small detail was left out: this camera can also record 3D movies. That's sweet.
