The new HP ZR30w can display all the colors of the rainbow, if the rainbow in question has 1.07 billion colors that is. That's about 64 times more than Apple's more expensive 30-inch Cinema HD Display. That's just a little tid-bit for those that like to keep track of these things.

Multifaceted adapter combines 3-port USB hub with iPod / iPhone connector
Posted on December 3, 2009 | No Comments
Multi-purpose adapters aren't anything new, but it's often the simplest of the bunch that prove most useful. Take this bugger for instance, which is little more than a vanilla 3-port USB hub connected to an iPhone / iPod dock connector port. The purpose for its existence? To prevent you from having to haul Apple's flimsily built charging cable and a USB hub with you each time you scurry out, and to just generally make your time on this planet entirely more enjoyable. Now if only it could recharge our prototype Volt that we've secretly got hiding in the Engadget Garage, we'd really be able to extol the $14.99 asking price.Multifaceted adapter combines 3-port USB hub with iPod / iPhone connector originally appeared on Engadget on Thu, 03 Dec 2009 17:49:00 EST. Video Review: EVGA Interview
Posted on August 7, 2009 | No Comments
I'm going to be kind here and say that EVGA Interview is an interesting product. It is a dual monitor system with two 17-inch screens attached to a base. It's a good idea, it really is. I'm just concerned that $600 is a bit much to pay for two screens in this configuration.
The trick here is that the screens turn over when you twist them into position. Want to show someone across the desk from you something? Flip over the monitor. It bears to note, however, that you need two graphics cards - DVI or VGA capable - to use both monitors at the same time.
You might have heard of Plugable Technologies before, they make USB adapters that allow you to plug a monitor into any device. This allows you to have multiple displays on systems that normally wouldn't support them, such as a laptop or notebook. Plugable just announced two new display adapters to their lineup. Press release after the jump.
The jog wheel. A must for anyone who edits video on a regular basis. Well, maybe not a “must” but definitely handy. They’re expensive, though, as evidenced by this otherwise normal keyboard that costs $272 thanks to the attached jog wheel.
