Innpu solves a problem you never had, introduces the ‘wired phone’ with built-in hands-free
Posted on June 22, 2010 | No Comments
Ok, so I'm not one of those guys that goes around holding their phone in one hand, and a hands-free microphone (irony duly noted) in the other in an effort to lose friends. In fact, I'm not even one of those guys that unwraps their included hands-free kit when they get a new phone. I just don't use handsfree kits. If you call me when I'm driving, I let it ring out.
So I may not be in the best position to talk about Innpu's new phone. You know, the one that has a permanently attached hands-free kit.

Western Digital here,
While other companies are just announcing their large 2.5-inch drives, we've started shipping ours and wanted to thank everyone involved with the industry-leading Scorpio Blue 750GB 2.5-inch hard drive: the engineers for crafting the drive, the bean counters for pricing it well at $149, but most importantly, you, the consumer. It was you that pushed us to stuff even more storage capacity in the small 2.5-inch form factor and demanded a quiet and battery-efficient drive. Thank you.

The InFocus DisplayLink Wireless system cuts the cord between Macs and InFocus projectors
Posted on February 8, 2010 | No Comments
One of the most frustrating things about using a projector is setting up all the cords. You have to connect the video, probably the audio (at least in a business setting) and get the whole thing up and running. If you have a Mac, life gets even more complicated due to the lack of an HDMI or DVI port, which is the industry standard for projectors. InFocus is fixing all that with their new DisplayLink wireless technology.

A "market-leading gaming console company" hired (probably Microsoft) a contact center provider, Alpine Access in Denver, to provide phone support. But they can't find 200 or so video gamers who are willing to walk parents through how to pull a grilled cheese sandwich out of the optical drive near Denver so they're going to that hotbed of excellent and stable talent: housebound Internet fans.
Their site,
Oh pretty netbook lady, you go about your daily life with your face buried in the goings-on of your hectic corporate lifestyle, unwilling to avert your gaze from the tiny 10.1-inch screen that dictates your graceful movements for even a mere moment in time.
