    Both EA and Konami have revealed details regarding the next FIFA, called FIFA Soccer 10 in the U.S., and Pro Evolution Soccer, called Pro Evolution Soccer 11, games, respectively. The first detail: they exist. There was approximately a zero percent chance that EA and Konami wouldn't continue with the franchises, but you and I know that big corporations make terrible decisions all the time. EA's big new feature is called Personality+, and it aims to make each player in the game as much like the player in real life. That is, Messi should be able to waltz pass defenders in-game as he does for Barcelona week in, week out, while Michael Carrick should be able to complete one pass in 50 as he does for Manchester United. (Exaggerated for effect. folks, so calm down.)

    OK, Wipeout HD is a fine, fine game, but how will it look in 3D? Probably disappointing, if only because it's going to have to be run in a rubbish resolution in order for the PS3 to create the stereoscopic image. Kvetching aside, Sony will release four stereoscopic 3D games for the PS3 tomorrow: Wipeout HD, Super Stardust, PAIN, and Motor Storm Pacific Rift. You will, of course, need a 3D TV to appreciate the extra dimensionality.

    Part of the draw of Crysis 2 is that it'll run just as well on your Xbox 360 or PS3 as it will on my PC. That's what CryTek, the game's developers, told the gaming press back in April. I saw the Xbox 360 version in action that day, and yeah: it looks insane for an Xbox 360 game; hard to believe it's running on five-year-old hardware. But now you can look at the game in action for yourself~!

    Brando knows how to make cheap electronics and computer equipment and this mini palm-size Bluetooth keyboard is no different. It's just so simple and therefore elegant. Because it uses Bluetooth to connect, it will work with most PCs, Macs, the PS3, and, yup, the iPad. There's even a rechargeable battery built-in. Not too bad for $40.

    "Not a fan of 3D movies? Wait till you play 3D games, that's when the technology will really shine." Not an exact quote, but that's the spirit of what Sony Computer Entertainment Europe President Andrew House said in a recent interview. The idea is that, OK, 3D movies may be just sorta there, but it's sitting there and playing something like WipeOut HD in 3D where you'll really gain an appreciation for the medium.

    In my lower moments I can be found browsing various message boards, watching mere children argue over what video game console is superior, the Xbox 360 or the PS3. No, I'm not lying, sad as that may be. Eventually the PS3 supporters whip out this gem: "Yeah, well at least we don't have to pay to play online," which is a clever dig at Xbox Live's $50 price tag. Don't tell them this rumor, then: Sony will unveil a PSN Premium at E3 next month, and it will cost money.
